Why use Wishkiya?


Wishkiya is ‘the one-stop place for all your gift’ needs. Register for free for all the things that you need in your wishlist. You can choose from the favorite gifts for any of the occasions which saves you the trouble to shortlist items. These are items that have already been curated especially for you!This includes gifts, holidays or even funds for those holidays. And to top it off these are not just for one big special occasion in your life, it can be even for your birthday or your anniversary!

Questions about Wishkiya's guest list, wishlist or events features?


You can either start with your guest list or event creation. This should take you to the option of creating your wishlist. Thereafter, keep adding the articles you would like as your gift and share it with your friends and family. It’s as simple as that! Does Wishkiya support international shipping?


At this time, we only ship within India, and we only support cash transfers through paytm.

That being said, our partner vendors do support the use of international credit cards, so your cousin who is abroad will not have a problem sending you that housewarming gift!

How does Wishkiya work?


STEP ONE:

Sign up or sign in! That should take you to the Event page, where you select the occasion you wish to create your wishlist for. You can create multiple wishlists for multiple occasions at the same time. Once you choose an occasion, it will ask you to the choose the date and place.

STEP TWO:

Choose to either invite guests or creating your wishlist at this point. You can choose from multiple templates for your invitation card. You can send the invites from either your gmail contacts or create a facebook group. We also provide RSVP facilities, to assist you in planning the event more easily.

STEP THREE:

Now comes the fun part! Adding gifts to your wishlist. Just keep adding the items you want from the categories or search for the items you already have in mind. (We recommend choosing variety of budgets to fit your guest list, but also restrict the number of gifts to the number of guests you are sharing the gift list with. Your friends and family can see your wishlist and choose the items as per their budget and get them for you without doing any guesswork!

STEP FOUR:

It’s time for you to sit back and enjoy your gifts your way! Oh and in case you have been invited for an event and you wish to buy something for a dear one, don’t forget to let them know that you have already bought an item, so that they can take it off their wishlist and not get multiples of the same item!


Can I shop on Wishkiya without having a wishlist?


Of course! We are both an online shopping site and a wishlist site.

Can we edit our wishlist after we've posted it?


You are of course entitled to make as many changes as you want! However, do keep in mind that once an item has been purchased, you cannot remove or hide it from your wishlist.

I forgot my password - help!


We've all been there! Follow these simple steps and you'll be back in action in no time.

  1. Go to http://www.wishkiya.com/
  2. Click 'Log In' at the top right hand side of the page.
  3. Just below the space to enter your password, you'll see 'Forgot Password?' - click on that, and you'll be asked to enter your email address.
  4. Click 'Submit' and check for an email with instructions on resetting your password. That should do the trick, but feel free to contact us if you have any trouble whatsoever. We're always happy to help!

How do I remove an item from my wishlist?


We've all been there! Follow these simple steps and you'll be back in action in no time.

If an item on your wishlist has been purchased, it cannot be removed. But if you change your mind about a gift before it has been purchased, simply go to your wishlist and delete the item from your wishlist page.

How do I enable Group Gifting?


You can enable the Group Gifting option so that guests can contribute any amount they choose. Just switch the 'Enable Group Gifting' option to 'Yes' from the product page on Manage Wishlist!

What happens if a Group Gift isn't completely fulfilled - will I still get my funds?


Of course! Even if the gift isn't 100% funded, you will still receive whatever amount has been gifted to you. For products sold on Wishkiya, you will receive the contributions to your registered phone number through Paytm. These credits will automatically be placed into your account, and you can redeem them at any point by applying them at checkout.

Add Anything

Can I add gifts from other websites onto my Wishkiya wishlist? How?


We have several categories which covers all you gift needs. But, if you have something specific in mind, you can go ahead and search for them and we will guide you to our various affiliates.

Also you can add any URL from our partner websites and simply add it to you wishlist. (When adding a gift from another website, we will ask you to verify the price to be displayed on Wishkiya. Should this price change, it won’t be updated automatically. If you happen to add an item that is on sale, we recommend adding it at the original retail price. Your guests won’t complain if they end up paying less for an item!)

How do guests purchase gifts from other websites from my Wishkiya wishlist?


Once you add an item from another store to your wishlist, that item remains in your wishlist for your invitees to see and choose for purchase. As soon as one of your guests choose to buy a gift they are routed to the product page to make the purchase. They can choose to book it so that you get to know that somebody has already chosen that gift and anybody else won’t be able to buy it. They can choose on the product page whether they would like the item to be shipped to you directly or to them, so that they can bring the gift with them on the day.

Additionally, guests will receive a prompt to let us know if they have bought the item, so that you never miss out.

Can I make an item from another website a Group Gift?


Only items from other websites that you are requesting the cash equivalent can be made into a Group Gift. However, even if your gift is not 100% fulfilled, you will still receive whatever amount has been gifted to you.

Why do you charge a fee on cash & gifts added from other websites?


For every transaction, we get charged a fee by Paytm or credit card processor. (This fee is the reason your local corner store might have a credit card minimum -- they won't make enough to cover the fee if you don't buy a certain amount of magazines, or soda, or pencils.)

We pass this fee directly to you without any markup. We don't make any money on this fee.

Passing this fee to you or your guests lets us continue to offer you the ability to register for cash & honeymoon funds. Without this fee, we'd be losing money on every cash gift, and would have to stop offering this service.

We invite you to compare us to our competitors! We are the only online wishlist with a single, straightforward fee - and we are the only online wishlist that does not mark up our fee in any way to create a profit margin, and if this helps at all.

Sharing Your Wishlist

What if some of our guests aren't computer friendly?


We have tried our best to make the website simple and easy to use, but we understand you might have questions. Please feel free to email us at support@wishkiya.com, and we will set up an appointment to guide you.

Can I make my wishlist completely private, so only my guests can view it?


Only you and your invited guests can view your wishlist. Any information you provide will be completely confidential.

Keeping a track on your gifts

How do we know if a gift has been bought?


We will send you an email confirmation after each item has been booked. However, an intimation will be provided to the guest to ensure that they actually purchased the item after booking it.

How and when will we receive our gifts?


If a guest purchases a Wishkiya item for you, they can either choose to get it shipped to them directly to bring with them on the event day, or they can get it shipped directly to you. The timeline depends on individual partner vendors.

Cash on honeymoon funds are directly deposited in your Paytm account. You can access it whenever you wish

How do I keep track of who gave me what?


Your wishlist page will display all the items that have been booked. Once, a guest purchases an item, we will send you an email informing you about who has bought you what.

What about thank you notes?


Once the event is over we send a thank you note to all the people you invited

My gift arrived damaged. What do I do now?


We are terribly sorry about that. However, we can provide you with the seller information and you can directly get in touch with the vendor to resolve the issue.

What happens if a gift is out of stock or discontinued?


We will always do our best to let you know if an item is out of stock with the expected delivery date and alert you to any changes! Once the item is back in stock, it will ship right out to you.

If an item is unfortunately discontinued, one of our Wishlist Advisors can point you towards a similar replacement gift and purchase something else on your wishlist from Wishkiya!

For Guests

How do I find a wedding wishlist?


Only way to access the wishlist is to use the link your host had sent you. We keep it this way to maintain the privacy of your users.

Did the couple send you a direct link to their Wishkiya wishlist? Awesome! Just click on that and log in.

If you're still having trouble tracking it down, don't fret! Just send us an email to support@wishkiya.com and we will point you in the right direction.

Is my personal information safe?


Yes, completely safe. Your contact information is confidential, and Wishkiya will never store it or share it with a third party.

Is my credit card information secure?


Your credit card information is completely safe, secure, and confidential. Wishkiya does not store or encrypt your credit card data. All of our online transactions are run by our partner vendors put through a secure third party server.

If I contribute to a Group Gift, will the couple know?


Absolutely! If you opt to contribute to a Group Gift on a wishlist, the couple will receive an email containing your individual contribution amount. This includes physical items and cash funds!

Why am I being re-directed to another site to purchase a gift?


We want couples to create their dream wishlist, so Wishkiya allows couples to add gifts from a variety websites to their wishlist.

We’ll also send you over an email asking to confirm your purchase, so if you change your mind, you’re not locked into that gift - just let us know

A gift is marked as Purchased, but I didn’t buy it. Help!


No problem at all! Since we asked for your email, just take a peek at your inbox and you’ll see we asked if you purchased the item or not. If you didn’t, simply click “No” and we’ll mark it as available on the couple's wishlist.
